About ME

Growing up in tropical places, (Navy Brat) Autumn Fesperman collected seashells and experiences. Now as an author and illustrator, she pens stories with themes of shipwrecks, underwater creatures, and beachside adventures. She paints watery, colorful illustrations, adding to the unique ocean vibe of her art. True tales from the hidden side of history flow through her adventures for readers of all ages, while her anthropomorphic characters engage, enlighten, and entertain. She loves to illustrate nature and the stories she imagines with the animals she observes. Her favorite way to work is a loose line with watercolor, and now works at replicating this process digitally as well. Coloring in and creating texture are her favorite part.
